Eid ul Adha 2025 Expected Date Revealed by Experts

According to experts, the chances of the new moon being visible on May 27 are very low. At sunset on that day, the moon will be only around 11 hours old, which is not sufficient for it to be visible with the naked eye. Because of this, it is unlikely that the Islamic month of Zul-Hijjah will begin on May 28.
However, astronomers state that on May 28, the moon will be over 35 hours old, significantly increasing the likelihood of a clear sighting. If this prediction holds, then 1st Zul-Hijjah is expected to fall on Wednesday, May 29, and Eid ul Adha would likely be celebrated on Saturday, June 7, 2025.
It is important to note that the final decision regarding the start of Zul-Hijjah will be made by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee after physically observing the moon.
Experts advise the public to avoid relying on unverified online information and instead follow official announcements through government and religious authorities for accurate dates related to moon sighting and Eid celebrations.
