Overview

The Punjab Kisan Card Phase-II, launched by CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif, provides interest-free loans of Rs. 3,350 per acre (up to Rs. 300,000 per season) for the Kharif season (May–October 2025). The scheme supports 750,000 farmers with a Rs. 75 billion budget to buy fertilizers, seeds, pesticides, and diesel.

• Loan Amount: Rs. 3,350/acre, up to Rs. 300,000 for 7.5 acres.
• Loan Structure:
  • 30% cash (up to Rs. 90,000) for urgent needs.
  • 20% (up to Rs. 60,000) for diesel.
  • 50% (up to Rs. 150,000) for fertilizers, seeds, pesticides.
• Interest-Free: No interest charged.
• Eligibility: Farmers with 1–25 acres (up from 12.5 acres).
• Repayment: April 15–May 15, 2026 (early repayment by April 30 for incentives).
• Diesel Purchase: Available at 1,866 PSO petrol pumps.

Eligibility

• Own 1–25 acres of land (verified by PLRA).
• Valid CNIC and mobile SIM registered with CNIC (PMD-verified).
• Land records in PLRA.
• No unpaid Phase-I loans (or repaid by April 30, 2026).
• Not a defaulter in eCIB.
• Engaged in farming activities.

How to Apply

1. Check Eligibility:
   • Confirm 1–25 acres land ownership via PLRA.
   • Ensure valid CNIC and registered SIM.
2. Register:
   • Send “pkc CNIC” to 8070 (e.g., “pkc 1234512345123”).
   • Or visit www.agripunjab.pk and fill out the online form.
3. Verification:
   • Digital verification via PLRA, NADRA, PMD, eCIB (3–5 days).
   • Get SMS confirmation.
4. Collect Card:
   • Visit Bank of Punjab (BOP) branch with CNIC.
   • Card issued within 24 hours.
5. Activate Card:
   • Check status by sending “pkc CNIC” to 8070.

How to Use the Loan

• Inputs: Buy fertilizers, seeds, pesticides at 3,250 registered merchants.
• Diesel: Use at 1,866 PSO petrol pumps (20% of loan).
• Cash: Withdraw 30% (up to Rs. 90,000) via BOP ATMs/branches.
• No Fees: No transaction charges on card purchases.

Repayment
