Launched in May 2024 by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the “Maryam Ki Dastak” program is a groundbreaking digital governance initiative aimed at delivering government services directly to citizens’ homes across Punjab.
It marks a new era of public facilitation where ordinary people, especially the elderly, women, and those in far-flung areas, no longer need to stand in long queues or visit government offices for basic services.
What is Maryam Ki Dastak Program?
“Maryam Ki Dastak” is a home delivery system for government services, operated through a mobile application and call center, where trained Dastak Representatives visit citizens’ homes to complete service procedures like document submissions and biometric verification.
Key Features
- Digital Application System: Citizens can apply via the Dastak mobile app or helpline.
- Home Delivery of Services: A Dastak Representative (DR) visits your house to collect documents or take biometrics.
- Real-time Tracking: Citizens get status updates and can track their application.
- Payment on Delivery: Nominal government service charges can be paid on delivery of documents.

How to Apply?
You can access the service in two ways:
1. Mobile App
- Download the “Maryam Ki Dastak” app from the Play Store or App Store.
- Select the service you want.
- Enter your details and choose a date/time for home visit.
- A Dastak Representative will arrive and assist with the procedure.
2. Call Center
- Call the toll-free helpline: 1202.
- Share your CNIC and address details.
- Book a service slot and confirm.
Dastak Representatives (DRs)
- Over 10,000 Dastak Representatives have been trained and deployed.
- At least 40% of these are women, reflecting CM Maryam Nawaz’s commitment to women empowerment.
- Each DR carries a tablet, portable printer, and biometric device.
- DRs are government-authorized and verified.
