NADRA Introduces Pakistan’s First Digital ID Card for a Smarter, Digital Future

Islamabad – NADRA (National Database and Registration Authority) has introduced the first-ever digital ID card in Pakistan. This was announced during NADRA’s 25th anniversary event in Islamabad. The Federal Minister said that this is an important step towards improving the country’s digital systems.

With the new digital ID card, people will soon be able to store their smart cards on their mobile phones using the Pakistan ID mobile app. This will make it easier for citizens to access services and quickly verify their identity when needed.
A new digital system will also be introduced soon, which will provide fast and safe verification for different services. This new system will start on the upcoming Independence Day, helping Pakistan move further into the digital age.
