Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) Eligibility Criteria, Scholarship Form & How to Apply

The Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) offers scholarships to students at different academic levels across Punjab. This program is designed to help bright students who face financial challenges in continuing their education.

- Scholarships are awarded on both merit and need basis.
Eligibility
Undergraduate Level
- Must be a resident of Punjab.
- Scored at least 60% marks in Intermediate exams.
- Must have passed as a regular or private student from a government or low-fee private institution.
- Monthly family income should be Rs. 60,000 or less.
- Not receiving any other scholarship in the same academic year.
Master’s Level
- Must have Punjab domicile.
- Attained a minimum of 60% marks or a CGPA of 2.5 in undergraduate programs (BA, BSc, BCom, BS, BBA).
- Admitted as a full-time student in a partner university in the current academic year.
- Income limit: Rs. 60,000/month or less.
- (Children of government employees in BPS 1-4 are exempted from this limit if salary is the only source of income.)
- Not already availing another scholarship.
- Must meet the merit and need criteria of the university.
Special Quota
- Must be part of one of the specified special categories mentioned earlier.
- Scored at least 60% marks in Matric or Intermediate exams (2024).
- Must be studying in a regular, full-time institution in Punjab.
- Monthly family income must not exceed Rs. 60,000 (exceptions apply for BPS 1-4 govt employees).
How to Apply
- PEEF announces scholarships through newspapers and on their official website (usually in September or October).
- Students must fill out and submit the relevant application form in their own institution.
- Students enrolled in:
- 1st semester (fall entry) or
- 2nd semester (spring entry)
are eligible to apply.
- Institutions forward the shortlisted applications to NUST Financial Aid Office or PEEF (as per category).
- Shortlisted students may have to appear in an interview.
- Selection is based on merit, need, and availability of funds.
- For Master’s level, continuation depends on:
- Good academic performance
- Student conduct
- Timely submission of progress reports
Deadline
- Intermediate & Graduation (Special Quota): Apply by 25 October 2024
- Master’s Level Scholarships: Last date is 31 January 2025
- PhD Foreign Scholarship (CMMS): Deadline is 30 April 2025
- For AJK students (PEEF quota), the application deadline is March 28, 2025.
