Starlink Launch Date & Packages Price in Pakistan 2025

The IT Minister, Shaza Fatima, has stated that Starlink is set to launch in Pakistan and has received temporary approval to start operations. She mentioned that Starlink is currently setting up and may start its services in November or December 2025.

Starlink Almost Ready to Launch

The IT Minister confirmed that Starlink has been given temporary permission (NOC) to work in Pakistan. The full license is not yet given, but the process is nearly complete. Starlink is setting up its system and installing the necessary equipment in the country.

No Major Problems with License

The minister explained that giving Starlink a full license is not a big issue. However, since satellite internet is new to Pakistan, the government is being careful and wants to create proper rules first. A consultant has been hired to help with making the right policies.

  • Upload Speed: 10-40 Mbps
  • Latency (Ping): 20-40 ms (Good for gaming and calls)

Starlink to Apply Again After Rules Are Ready

Once the new internet rules are finalized, Starlink will need to apply again for a full license. The policy is almost ready, and things are moving quickly.

Other Companies Interested

A Chinese firm named Shanghai Spacecom is also looking to offer satellite internet services in Pakistan.This shows that more companies are looking at Pakistan’s internet market.

Temporary Permission Given

PTA Chairman, Major General (retd) Hafeez-ur-Rehman, confirmed that Starlink has received temporary approval to operate. However, a full license will be granted only after the new rules are finalized.

Starlink Service May Start Soon

The meeting ended with hopes that Starlink will start its service soon. People in Pakistan may be able to use Starlink internet by the end of 2025.
